A state economic development grant of $600,000 will go toward the pre-construction of our $7.1 million multi-use recreational center. State Senator Dale Volker of our district announced the grant while attending an ice cream social with our AIA rink supporters on Saturday.
The certer will be at our 41 Riley Street site in the heart of the village's business corridor. The grant announcement cited the rink's two ice pads, complete with locker rooms, community event areas, a pro shop and a concession stand.
