The vision is to create a "community" oriented ice sports facility serving the diverse recreational needs of the Southtowns. Our community will be instrumental in guiding all youth and adult programming.
Located in the center of East Aurora's business disctrict on Riley Street, the Time Warner Cable Ice Centre will be easily accessible to all Southtown communities. It will be a gathering place and a vibrant hub of activity.
A temporary outdoor single rink, the "Winter Classic" rink, is under construction this fall. The permanent arena will include two ice sheets, locker rooms, party and event areas, concessions, and a pro shop. The arena will provide a local venue for training and competition in ice hockey, figure skating, speed skating, and other sports. The target completion date for the project is Fall 2010.
