The vision is to create a "community" oriented ice sports facility to serve the diverse recreational needs of the Southtowns. Our community will be instrumental in guiding all youth and adult activities at this new rink.
Located in the center of East Aurora's business disctrict on Riley Street, the planned Ice Centre will be easily accessible to all Southtown communities. It will be a gathering place and a vibrant hub of activity for our Village.
A temporary outdoor single rink, the "TimeWarner Cable Winter Classic" rink, was installed last fall, and hosted many enjoyable public skating and hockey events over the past winter. The site is now closed for skating while being prepared for the 2009-2010 season.
